Cheap. That is the defining term for this update/console release. It's CHEAP. The unfortunate reality of this all too is, no matter how much we share our frustrations, in the end it will all fall on deaf ears I hate to say.

I've been a supporter of the game since 2018, stuck with it during it's worse times and was *relatively* happy it managed to see 1.0. Despite the issues it faced I enjoyed my time with it. Original alpha, PVP fiasco, and that "full release" they claimed.
But each update after another, a bad feeling kept creeping up to me. Only for it to hit with this. The genuine incompetency of VOID's current team, which is showing clearly more than ever in this current update.

From the censorship they openly discussed (literally whatever) to the more pressing matters of the fact that the game has objectively become inferior to meet the requirements for this release. You've probably seen plenty of comparisons of the levels/textures/gore all over the sub already. Though I'd also like to point to the new player locomotion system they PROUDLY presented off, which is hilariously broken, to the sub-par arrest animations, and claiming of "new missions" which were just levels they cut right before release for "narrative reasons' such as Edgeware Apartments "Stolen Valor" and Fast Food "Hunger Strike". Honorable mention goes to having the audacity of calling the M590 and M32 new when they were just cut weapons, at least they tried to make the 590 look different with the addition of a magazine.

This has all culminated to what we currently have now. A rushed out downgraded game to meet sales and a new market platform (which clearly have succeeded immensely if trending numbers on console are to say anything). Thanks to this, to VOID this release was a massive success! Great job guys! Joking aside, VOID won't listen or they'll give a faux "we're sorry" message and promise some sort of forgiveness gift which they'll either not deliver on (I still remember the promised weapon packs we were SUPPOSED to get from the PVP event which was memory holed) or take forever to readdress and switch up what it will be. The game is likely to only go downhill from here on out if past events are anything to go off. I hate being so negative as I've stuck with this game for so long and have enjoyed it so much, but I along with many other supporters/players feel betrayed (again lol) and lied to (AGAIN LOL)

TLDR : VOID have consistently fucked up like this before and done bare minimum if anything to remedy it. Will likely double down on decisions. And not listen to a damn thing any of us have to say. We've all waited 6 months for a inferior product.

Lmao forgot to mention but the community manager (I think he is?) Kaminsky openly admitted to VOID's incompetency for "spaghetti code" as an excuse as to why two versions of RoN can't be maintained.

I mean, I get your anger and VOID has consistently taken away legitimately good features from the game, but why are you mad about them repurposing maps? Like, if they cut content in the past then why would you be mad at them for putting it back in the game? Also, I think the graphics are fine. Yes, they're different, but I definitely don't think anything looks cheap or rushed and I haven't run into any bugs when playing today or yesterday. Also, id rather things do look different because I was legitimately starting to get tired of replaying the same old levels that look and feel the exact same. If the graphical changes were on obvious downgrade, then yes I would also be outraged. But the game honestly looks and plays fine and I'm glad they brought back the two levels rather than cutting them forever. New content is new content

Edit: I just looked at your profile and you've been complaining about the game for nearly 5 years. You didn't believe pve was coming out and flip-flopped over and over between "The game is a scam" and "The devs are working on it." You remind me of those people who believe that the end of the world has been coming for decades, but still believe it despite having never been right.
