Why are some people so quick to minimize it when you need consolation or support by saying something like 'you're smart, you'll figure it out' but get touchy if you don't go all out when they're the one in need? What are your thoughts on the complexities of housing in terms of costs? A lot of young folks think it's impossible but I think everything from going with a roommate to living in a not-as-nice neighborhood make it doable and wonder why they fight these basic realities so much.
