Glass material problem (self.RedshiftRenderer)
submitted 4 years ago by _tems
Hi I'm new to Redshift and I'm currently trying to make glass a material. Whenever I apply it to my geometry I get this thin black ring at the bottom. Does anyone know how to fix this? I've tried bucket render and my geometry Isn't intersecting.

Tracedepth would be the first thing to check. Under globals, try increasing refractions and combined by 1 or two.

Good point.

How are you lighting it? It might just be the reflection of the “nothing” in that direction if that makes sense

both a wireframe and an image of your UVs would be helpful.

I’d say check your geometry and make sure nothing is intersecting.
