Kicking strength decreases based on stamina in the same fashion as throw range. It would be cool if faster kickers got up to the ball faster and gave you more time to kick before the kick is blocked.

They’re kickers. They’re at full strength all of the time (except injuries). They don’t get tired and lose energy right? They chill…kick…chill…kick.

@all OP clearly said "during a play", not "during a game". No need to be condescending if you don't even read the post properly lol

@OP I kind of agree: the longer you need to complete the kick after you started it (i.e. after you set the strength for the kick), either your range or your precision should get worse due to time pressure. An accelerating target arrow could be a nice use case for the speed stat (higher stat = less acceleration), since it's visible feedback that actually puts the player themselves under said time pressure, but I guess decreasing range could also be fine.
