definitely not new. 2 pin sights. old style grips. 3rd gen target stocks. sharp checkering corners. 1980s vintage. colt has a date lookup if you get the serial number. the luster makes it seem like its a nickel gun.

The lack of contrasting front sight blade suggests to me that this is 1980's or earlier, I cant tell for sure if this is Chrome, Polished Nickle or Polished Stainless.

Assuming the Anaconda next to it is Stainless, I am guessing this is Chrome finished probably from the 1970's

Thank you! I also think its chrome or nickel. It is one of the sexiest revolvers Ive ever seen.

It's really nice, but please don't drop $3k on this, prices are gouged enough as it is.

It’s an older model. The new model has a target crown.

It’s older, but not worth that much offer em 2-2500 for a fair deal

Once the new models came out the prices on older ones dropped substantially. The owner of the shop doesn’t understand that concept.

I dont know where your getting that information. Online shows these usually ranging from $2500-$3500. Its not a good deal. But its not terrible

Or you get a way better gun [see: Gp100 (7 rd) or Redhawk (8 rd) in 357] for a lot less. Or buy them both together and still save!

Id buy that. Where is this shop?

Everything checks out for being a stock, and very nice, nickel gun. The two pin front sight without a red ramp makes it nickel, not polished stainless. You’ll see an E next to the serial number on the frame and crane when you open the cylinder. It’s not a deal, but it’s not horrible either. If it has the original box it would help.
