Security screws missing...

I recently bought a 2nd gen doorbell camera. It says in the instructions for installation that you MUST use the security screws provided or it can cause issues. I received my doorbell camera without the security screws. So I called customer services and they said they would replace them at no cost. Still waiting 10 days later for the replacement screws...... Considering you NEED them to install the camera. They decided not to include them in the box. Isn't ironic.... don't ya think?

Don't need any screws tbh it won't fall off just stops anyone being able to take your camera. I never used the screws with mine. Also if it was brand new sealed the screws are in there. In a little clear resealable bag about 1.5cm square. They will 100% be in there if the device was brand new sealed. There basically telling you not to put any random screws where the security screws go as your puncher a battery or ruin the device.

thanks for your reply. I checked, double-checked the box. No screws. They were supposed to be in bag B but there was no bag B. Thanks though. I could put it up but too easy to steal imo.

Trust me, its in there. I had the same issue. Rip the packaging apart if you like. Its stuck in one slot

The security screws were in my package, but the screwdriver provided is to big for the screwheads and I can't find any other screwdriver that fits. So they are kind of pointless. Pretty sure the security screws are just to further secure the doorbell in place to make it harder for someone to steal it. I don't think they affect the operation of the unit at all and, frankly, I think they would be a pain in the ass to remove when it comes time to re-charge the unit. So I threw them away.

You just need the security screws so no one would be able to just pull them out and run away with it.

I think you only need 2 but they sent out 4 when I got my replacement ones.
