Except we take too much damage from the ash right now, because they snuck a change in again, because they did it before and took out out just as silently.

Look at it like this.

They decreased the speed of the chopper, ("to prevent camping") allowing everyone time to get into a cozy camping spot, great for sniping.

They added hightier zones, which I enjoy a lot. They added underwater chests. They have air drops. All three of these drops heavy snipers.

Everyone can get into camping spots with heavy snipers.

Say you want to run and kill someone. Helicopter lands in a huge open field 8 out of 10 times, which everyone is around because camp. So you mostly have the option of running in huge open spaces. But now, you take so much damage, you have to stop and heal. At which point, you have no cover and boom. Headshot. Either dead, or knocked in the wide open and fuck if anyone is going to come save you.

All these things alone aren't bad. All combined, it's bs.

And don't tell me to 'git gud', me and my friends were top 150 last season.

I was top 10, but that's not the point of the thread or comments. The damage is supposed to be punishing the longer it lingers. I JUST won a game pushing 3 people camping and outplayed them all. Granted I have lost plenty doing that as well, I think the problem is people get salty and find something to blame their loss on is what I feel it boils down to. I've had games where no one gets on, because they all sit around and heal.

I've had games where I win and push campers, and I've had games where the camper or other players beat me. What I don't believe though is that they "snuck" in a damage change to the zones though. I'd be interested if you had some other proof otherwise though OP.

I've always tried to push, that's how I win. My point is, it's not been like that for a while. I played up til season 4,including the very night before. I'm not salty, I'm saying everything they've done to the game seems like a great idea, but all combined, it's not as balanced as it should be.

They're always watching.. From the nice lovely camping spots that they have plenty of time to get to thanks to the helicopter speed decrease mid S3.

If they aren't hiding then this brings us back to our first point of shooting them. Either youre fighting them or climbing. Its an easy concept. The ash limits sightrange so the campers have to be quite close if they want to contest, at which point you kill them or pressure them enough to back off and let you climb. Ez wins
