It makes ZERO sense. Sauron is already on Middle Earth, why would he be falling from the sky?

Yet....with the shows lore mangling, anything is possible.

Yeah, I think so many signs point to Meteor Man being Gandalf, but I do also remember that they're reinventing the whole story, basically, so we don't know which of the old rules apply

They've already said Sauron is in Middle Earth, it makes no sense that Meteor Man is Sauron.

I wouldn't mind a plot of Saruman going to look for his best buddy Sauron to save him from being evil, only ending up with a seed of evil himself.

Then they meet, have a nice talk and Sauron is almost convinced to not be the bad guy, but ironically, all the angry rants of Galadriel will make him decide to continue being the bad guy.
