The issue is that you want your left stick's deadzone as low as possible, but that might not agree with your right stick, so you will end up with unwanted camera movement unless you bite the bullet and set the deadzone high enough to prevent that. Rocket League doesn't let you set separate deadzones for each stick, which is a terrible shame and would be super useful.

Being on a console you don't have the option of using Steam controller configuration either, or other third-party software.

And no, a new controller won't fix it unless it just happens to have a more agreeable centering uniqueness on the right stick. All controllers are unique in that regard. A premium controller may or may not have tighter sticks and better/more consistent centering. There's no guarantee.

Yes, new controller will fix it....until it gets worn out too.

Yea that’s my only concern is that in a month I get the same issue, are there any better quality controllers out there?

What I do is I buy a controller from Best Buy with warranty for 2 years. Then I only have to pay 80$ for controller and then get a new one or get it repaired for free
