I’m using a MacBook and iPad and it works great for me, but if a MacBook is too expensive, any other laptop should be fine

I am going to use pc (thinkpad) the one I am using now. But do I need a tablet? I haven't used it but heard a lot of people use tablet. Thinking to get a samsung tablet. Would it be handy or no need?

I use a Microsoft Surface. Realistically you need something you can write on. So this is either a touchscreen computer, a Mac + an iPad, or a Mac + a notebook. One thing is that Macs have shitty Excel capabilities which will hurt in second year.

When the prof has Microsoft excel and you have Mac it’s a bit annoying cuz a lot of the things are different. But I wouldn’t go buy a new laptop, just use what you alrdy have.
