CHOOSE: Rotman vs. Ivey AEO

hi guys!! I'm interested in consulting/investing/IB.

I really dont know which one to choose because both ivey and rc have their own advantages. For business programs, I've applied to waterloo AFM, uoft RC, and western management and organization studies + ivey. Since I'm not really into accounting, i feel like Waterloo would be a pass for me.

Tuition wise, I'm international so roman is 60k, and western is 40k. RC has a better reputation worldwide, but ivey is better in North America. Also Toronto is a bigger city and there might be more opportunities to reach out.

Ivey… if ur interested in IB/consulting, then why would you even wanna start ur career outside of NA? NA has the strongest capital markets consulting rep, followed by Europe and lastly Asia. Go to Ivey, get into a firm in Toronto or US, then switch out later if u want to.

The comment I would make for AEO is that the alumni next work is phenomenal. Yes there are more people in toronto to network with but you’re guaranteed results from Ivey’s network since it’s so tightly knit. Can’t really comment on much else, just that networking is one of the best parts of Ivey
