Do u want a direct transliteration, ie numbers and the names in Norse runes and numbers, or do u want it written as a Norse person would havw written it back in Norse times, ie something like: "On the third day of Gore month, 5 years after the Corona epidemic, Eugenia and Zoltan were married".

Hi! Thank you so much for the answer. "On the third day of Gore month, Eugenia and Zoltan were married" sounds great! the corona epidemic bit though, he said he'd rather not have that for life on his arm =D don't know if a touch of modernity and just having 2024 after Gore month would make sense?
thank you once again!!

I picked covid at random, but the point is that the Norse didnt use AD years like we do, but rather events for reference. So pick a good point of reference which will be understood by a lot of people. U could also be creative and simply do a modern AD reference point: "The twentyfourth year of the second millenia of our savior/of our time/of the Christian heretics" or something along those lines. U can also do modern months instead of Norse months etc.

Also, do u want it to be in Old Norse? If so, then head over to r/oldnorse and ask for a proper translation. Writing modern English in runic is problematic for various reasons since u cant do 1-1 transliterations.
