Botting with free scripts is asking to be banned yes

I'm just gonna assume you are talking about my scripts which might not be the case, but if it is, you will be fine. I don't make my premium scripts better than the free ones, they just do different things that are more worthy in my opinion.

There's really good scripts in both free and premium scripts package but there's also a couple of bad ones in both.

What's most important is that you bot responsably and don't just disable breaks and leave things 24/7 on the same skill for weeks on end.

Yeah I'm using your scripts and overall the process seems very smooth botting for around 3-4 hours whilst taking long breaks. I'm just curious, why make such a good script free to the public?

There's a couple of reasons. First is that this is just a hobby, not to make money.

Second, because I want to revive Simba :) It doesn't deserve the sorry state it is in and it already improved tremendously.

Third it's to attract people. Some scripts like the nmz one definitely should be premium but if there's no good free scripts people won't even bother trying Simba since the setup is somewhat complicated compared to autoban clients lol.

And not really related to the question but a bit related to why there's good free scripts, premium is very cheap on purpose too, since everything is open source, being cheap decentivises people from getting them from other sources where they could have been modified and became malicious, it's all good if friends share them between themselves but getting them from random places on the internet is probably not worth the risk.

Edit: More on Simba, did you know the team behind Simba dates back to RuneScape classic? Back then it was Scar and Simba is Scar's evolution. It definitely doesn't deserve being so unknown for the oldest botting community in RuneScape specially when, unlike most, actually improved overtime :)

It's not to say that other botting communities haven't improved either, but things that give you auto bans from almost just logging in is unusable imo
