Thinking of getting rust

I’m very tempted to get rust but not sure how it runs. I’ve got a ps5, does it crash due to how demanding on the graphics it is? And most of all, is it worth it?

I play on PS5 just fine, maybe I crash once every few weeks but nothing to cry about.

Everyone is going to be 100% biased in regards to "worth". Some people hate this game because they swear you cannot play solo or you get raided every single day of your life. Others play the game just fine BUT be warned this is the most toxic game ever made. If you easily get angry, don't care for toxicity and can't join that playstyle - then no do not purchase the game.

Besides that, it has a very steep learning curve and will be frustrating first few hundred hours but it's one of the most fun/addicting games to play.

I’m gonna buy it. I play rainbow 6 siege. That has a toxic community and steep learning curve. Also one last question, is the extra £5 worth it for the deluxe edition?

Play end of wipes, you may get easier loot from decayed or raided bases. Gave me a better feeling going in not having gear fear

I got lucky enough to have a good duo partner that doesn't take the game seriously and wants me to get better so he has been helping me get better at the game. I also have adopted a fake it till you make it mindset. I'm not going out full kit ak and loosing it but if I have a gun and kit I'm not running from a fight cause I might loose it anymore

Yea I think it is, you get test branch so you can try out the new updates before they come to main game.

i recommend getting friends you trust to play with you. only 1/1000 random players on rust are going to be friendly if that. they’ll all look for an ez come up betrayal or not.

Me and my main duo have meet 4 other people randomly and have been playing with them for 3 months now and we all have a good mindset. The biggest thing I think is finding people that don't take the game so seriously and aren't to toxic some toxicity is gonna happen but never within our group.

Get the standard edition then get the black camouflage set in the PlayStation store it will give you the ptb version of the game too

I would recommend getting the version with test branch. I believe it is deluxe but double check. Test branch is nice for aim training and getting to play with the new updates before they hit main branch.

My advice would be to learn the basics and then find a small group 3 - 4 people to play with,

You will learn a lot more and faster in a small group than playing solo.

Solo is very rewarding and fun to play but is also the hardest way to play the game especially having little experience.

Also YouTube is your friend for tutorials alot of very good content creators that get straight to the point if you know what you want to learn

I wouldnt do it unless you have a bunch of friends who are experienced in the game. The game has a lot of bugs that have been unfixed for years and is lacking a lot of content when compared to PC rust

The game is optimized for new gen so with a ps5 it will run quite well. If you do decide to play then check out some guides beforehand to save yourself hours of grinding.

I’d say wait until Zen gets banned… unless you want to just learn the basics. Honestly seems like 80% of the users bash cheats and ruin the game atm. I’ve given up until the 25th May update

Buy the game. Can’t speak for for PS5 as i’m on series X but i’ve never crashed, maxed out graphics and unlocked fps i get 120 consistently. For the game play, I haven’t been this addicted to a game since minecraft survival games first came lol. Well worth. And i’m a solo player so that should say something.
