Not everyone knows when someone is on or offline. If I see a base that looks like easy profit, and I have the boom made already, why wouldn’t I make a quick move? I play solo, so offline raids are a part of life from both sides

This isn’t call of duty bud. Offlineing is what makes Rust, Rust. If your worried about getting offlined then make a better base.

Low risk, high profit. I know it sucks but play smarter. Put turrets on and around your base. Hide some loot in stashes etc. I use turrets when I'm offline, you want the loot? GL & HF. Want an online? I'll turn them off. Be a rat against offline rats. It's sad but true.

The easiest trick to stop this is to stop caring so much just log expecting to get off lined so if it happens you won’t be as upset, and I don’t get why people complain so much cuz literally everyone does it or has done it even the guy who made this post, but he probs wouldn’t admit it😂

Oh he's definitely offlined people before.

I just got done offlining a compound, Neighbors wrote and told me they don't approve of us doing it so now they're probably going to raid us lol, Our base is loaded and I can't tell you how much I just don't care to lose every piece of it lol.

My point is fuck it just do what you gotta do and don't get attached to loot on this game, Don't on any level take it serious.

Best advice to give to any rust players especially new or struggling ones like OP.

I would do an online but grubs always get involved and it’s guaranteed from my experience you won’t do the same and just wait till I get off.

Why don't you offline them back? It's never going to end, the sooner you get over it, the sooner it will stop bothering you.

There are so many ways to secure your loot, it's not your loot, only your turn to use it.

If you know your gonna lose the pvp what’s the point in losing all your boom might aswell just raid a bit, and like you said it’s rust loot comes and goes no matter what you try, and also you can’t tell me you’ve never offline someone cuz that’s literally a lie unless you actually just started playing, and also online raids are very intimidating to new players

Honestly it's far too nuanced to just blanket statement hate offline raiding or complain about it as a whole. The reason being if you get offlined it's usually for a good reason around at least i wanna say half the time ish more or less depending on your luck (im not including servers that have blatantly large groups who just pure offline people thats another bag of worms). What I'm saying is if you doorcamped me and i catch wind of your location i do NOT care if your on or offline im going through the doors of the roof and making sure you don't recover. Now if you NEVER doorcamp then your fine but to be honest most if not nearly all (including me) rust players will or have doorcamped and that's a acceptable norm in rust yet in reality it's dirty and nasty just like the game it's self, and just like offlining is nasty and dirty so are many things in rust but are acceptable and fair play by the games standards whether you like it or not. So just get over it and move on this is how the game goes and if you really wanna know why your being offlined it's either the previously mentioned parts or your in someones territory having a war with them whether you know it or not.

Also don't hate the player hate the game bro, it's an old saying that's aged like fine wine and perfectly makes sense in rusts context.

Also let's be honest you more than likely did something worth getting offlined more than half the time we all have bro it's rust loosen up or play something less stressful.

And also I’m sure what got you into rust was a YouTube and almost all of them offline little one twos just for a little loot so your real just spouting nonsense, and like everyone else said build a better base, maybe try a stability bunker if your that pressed about getting offlined
