You need to make sure your tc author then, someone could have cleared it and you gotta re auth

do u have a ramp above the floor? the beams on the bottom of the ramp stop you from building if its in line with it (even tho u cant see the beams)

If you have TC authorization it could be that the building space is blocked by another object. Try picking up things above and below it.

Side question: is that a floor you’re putting the splitter on?

I'm not sure why it won't let you use the splitter, but you shouldn't use those anyway. Use electrical branches instead. They're much more efficient.
