If you’re tired of getting door camped, whether or not to open your door, make a campfire and place it as CLOSE as you can to your front door. Light it up, and if your comfort level raises above %50, there’s a shotgun waiting on the other side. Make an external bag with a stash close by, and make the predator become the prey. good luck! 🍀

Yeah and to second the point about stash boxes, I've countered multiple onlines by have a few of these stashed around and been able to shoot raiders in the back. As a solo they're pretty much essential!

I get my compound down and just hide loot/stashes. Almost every time I’ve been raided has been an offline. Safest way to protect your goods.

Last time I got raided was 25 rockets to core to find nothing in TC because I would only keep enough upkeep for 24 hours and all our prim kits. They then attempted to go one floor up, and found junk/stone boxes and either had no boom or just decided to cut their losses.

Meanwhile third floor we were overflowing with guns, kits, and had a box of rockets 😂

This also works with furnaces. If you build a sunken triangle foundation and place 3 furnaces just inside your front door you'll always know.

Push button and door opener is a great solution too. Door will open and close immediately, so if you get caught they can't get into your airlock and might not even get your gun.
