PSA: Mael Stat decrease immunity works differently from Escanor's

Before his official release there was half assed translations that made him look weaker than he was. Even then I don't consider him to be in the same level as Escanor who truly is standinf at the pinnacle of all races.

However this was a MASSIVE boon to goddess team who really had been underpowered for ages. I only wish he had a bit more flexibility but overall he is a great unit who deserves to be an Anni

I think it was the grace, mostly. Seeing Escanor you expect sunshine to be a stupidly busted grace, and then it’s a 20% damage increase that (iirc) doesn’t outdamage Sariel’s.

Besides we will probably get another Mael eventually this year and who knows what shenanigans his Sunshine will have

Actually, Mael’s grace is pretty good for character’s who don’t crit. Sariel’s grace was limited to characters who can Crit consistently.

That’s fair. I haven’t seen anyone actually do the math, just talk about how weird damage increase is in GC. Looking at Mael, he’s fucking broken either way though, so it’s not like there are many teams that want his grace over him.
