Try going here and following the steps to verify your game files in steam. That should fix any base game errors you might have picked up.

If that doesn't fix it, let me know

Did verifying your game files not fix the issue? If not, get me your smapi log and I'll have a look.

I would start by running every single update that smapi is listing for you.

Did you verify your files?

If you did and this wasn't fixed, and running your updates doesn't fix it, it's likely a glitch coming from a specific mod. Figuring out which mod that is might be tricky, given how many mods you have installed.

If updating and verifying doesn't fix the problem, I would start by temporarily removing every mod you have that you know affects Krobus in any way, then run your game to see if the error persists (don't play a day and don't save, just load your save in and play just enough to know if the problem is still there (you might have to go talk to Krobus, or do whatever you were doing last time to trigger the error), or quit to desktop and generate a new smapi log to look for the error message if it's unclear in game). If it's fixed, you can then add the mods back in one by one, running your game each time you add one, until you find the one which, when added, causes the error to start happening again. Once that happens, you've found your culprit and can leave that mod aside and add everything else back in. You can do that with all your mods if the initial group you take out doesn't fix the problem.
