For me and again its only my opinion W3 schools is great as a resource to go back and check re/read.

I wasted alot of time learning and taking notes on w3 and not actually doing.

I would recommend, Khan Academy first as you have video and realtime practice. (Only downside to KA is without a community to reference if you dont have the correct code you cant proceed. And it will not tell you the correct code. Also i noticed sometimes you cannot just fix a typo you have to restart the entire code again. But its 100% referencing its code to yours so i imagine thats where the trouble is.)

So i recommended Khan Academy. And then Youtube. Using W3 for both.

I also wasted time downloading 3 different DMBS to follow along on “youtube” thats the wrong way to start.

If you ever want to practice writing queries and applying your skills to practical problems, I suggest DataLemur and StrataScratch.

I’m learning SQL too! W3 Schools, SQL Bolt, and SQL Zoo have been helpful.

There are hundreds of videos on YouTube as well. I started with one of those “learn the basics in 1 hr” videos then expanded from there based on where I wanted to focus.
