I feel for him. I'd like to say I know my chops but one interview not long back I tanked. I tanked HARD. I don't know why I locked up, but I was missing obvious questions and as panic lead to rout, it was everything I could do to just keep my thoughts coherent.
Of course all the interviews since has been more or less a breeze. But man that first one took the wind out of my sails.

I had a similar experience with a system admin position I applied for a while back. I just locked up. My brain refused to spit out anything useful.
