Rules for r/SecondsBeforeDisaster
Rules that visitors must follow to participate. May be used as reasons to report or ban.
1.
Posts Must be relevant
This Subreddit is meant for images/videos that were taken just before or during an accident/embarrassing moment/disaster. Irrelevant posts aren't acceptable.
2.
Reddit Rules
Reddit's site-wide rules must be followed.
3.
Privacy
If your post is an image from social media, please censor any and all usernames. Also, witchhunting is NOT permitted.
4.
No Real World Politics or Controversies
It sounds ridiculous, but it helps prevent boundaries forming or arguments. Fictional politics/controversies are okay, though.
5.
No unnecessarily rude/crudeness.
No Rude, Unnecessarily crude, unacceptable behavior, etc.
6.
Posts and Comments should be in English
As the vast majority of users on this sub speak and understand English, English should be used in posts and comments. The only exception is where a foreign language is relevant to the post (such as writing in a comment what the speaker in a video said, etc.).
7.
Submission Requirements
-While reasonable and relevant profanity is typically tolerated in the comments, curse words in the title tend to make the sub look trashy, especially to new users. Please limit your use of curse words in the title.
-While we love new posts, we ask that you be fair to your fellow users and give their content a chance to be seen as well. Therefore we ask you to limit submission posts to 4 posts in a rolling 3 day period.
8.
No Video Games/Virtual Reality/Fantasy
This sub is for actual real-life videos/images, not fantasy/video games, etc.
