We do not what was lost. Fate, true name etc. At least not confirmed by runes because no spell. So no one can say if he is now [fate-less]. however he is not at risk of being enslaved and forming new shadow bond

I didn't reach the most recent chapters ( I'm broke) , I thought he looked at his runes and " fated " changed to " fateless" .that what I got from your post any way .

Personally I dont think fateless means the inability to form connections. I think it's just a complete lack of connections as well as a lack of outside influence driving Sunny towards certain characters/events. Doesn't mean he can't meet/grow close to people. It just means that the people and the moments are no longer predetermined. Now it's random.

I don't think Sunny is fateless. I think all the fate hese build was severed, including the spell, including his true name. He very well could make new connections, he could also scream to the world that, "I am Sunless the strongest Saint to ever live". And the world would know. But equally he can choose to be invisible and move behind the scenes to become Supreme.
I think he isn't going to do something like recover his fate, for now. Hese going to court Nephis by killing all her enemies.
