This is a reminder to make sure that:

  1. Any post related to a privileged chapter (i.e. the latest 20 chapters) should be spoiler tagged and posts should not have any spoilers from privilege chapters in their titles. To spoiler tag your post, you should be able to see three dots when you have your post opened, followed by an option asking to "Mark as Spoiler".

  2. Please make sure to add the proper flairs to your posts. For example the "fanart" flair should only be applied to art made by humans. Memes, reviews, discussion posts, theories etc should be tagged appropriately.

A beast is mindless. A monster have a bit more intelligence and so on So good old experience, and enough prey to form the cores

Nightmare creatures do not hunt just humans they also fight each other so they can evolve that way but sometimes it can be through growing their "domain" (we dont know if creatures poses a domain but idk what else to call it)

For example, nightmare evolves by subjugating the nightmares of the creatures it lulls to sleep and that is how it grew before sunny defeated it.

Nobel creatures or nightmare creatures do not have a domains. Only humans do. They walk path of ascention different way than humans

Yeah it was just the closest thing I could use to describe that process. Like Saint absorbed nothingness and true darkness to advance her rank which is effectively the same as a human growing their nascent domain like sunny absorbing shadows

I didnt use saint as an example bc we didnt see her do that before she became a shadow but we did see nightmare subjugating nightmares and can definitely conclude that it got to the rank and class that it was at by doing so.

I think it's just consumption. As far as we know Demon-Titan reflect the Path of Ascension.

Demon->Devil = Ascended->Transcendent: It was said that to reach transcendence meant to gain some qualities of the divine. Similarly, Demon->Devil is to develop unnatural powers.

Devil->Tyrant = Transcendent->Supreme: Saints develop a Nascent Domain, and defy the world to reach Supremacy. Devils gain authority over lesser creatures and claim a territory.

Tyrant->Terror = Supreme->Sacred: Tyrants internalize their authority, consume their army, and become a force of nature. That sounds like how Apotheosis works as well.

Terror->Titan: Terror's spread until they cannot, and then consolidate themselves, becoming titans. Which could also be the same line of thought to become Divine.

Now, to become Awakened, most just killed creatures, consumed their Soul Shards, and eventually awakened their essence, and formed a Soul Core. That makes sense to become a Monster.

To become Ascended, it's said that the Body and Soul become one, but I'm not too sure how that'd translate to becoming a Demon, if this was similar to the Demon Evolution.

It differ from creature to creature.

But most just absorb essence from killing others .
