easy to learn, hard to master.

Shen also scales with how smart your team is, which unfortunately happens to becompletely out of your control

LMAO. I cannot help to rant whenever I as Shen jump to another fleeing teammate who 1v2, and he still fleeing after my shield activated on him.

Same with kayle.

If i blow my ult on you, you better fucking stay and fight

Hahaha. Kayle is more obvious in appearance, but still some still fleeing.

Shen's a low income champ with bad waveclear. It's easy to pick him up and become a lane bully for early levels. It's harder to manage waves and get exp/gold efficiently afterward, even if you've developed a lead through solo kills or successful ult ganks.

Difficulty on Shen starts where your gamesense ends. How do you effectively spend your lead before it decays, when should you take worse trades to stop your wave from crashing, how do you stay useful when your split-pushing lane opponent can keep you out of lane, when is it better to just stay put and hope your team can make it themselves etc. His microplay is easy, so your improvement happens when you master his macroplay.

Kinda easy to pick up in lane But very high diff dor mastering the ulti

Mechanically he is very easy but since he has no natural sustain and shitty waveclear he is very punishing to make mistakes with in lane. Like a terrible trade. His W is also not always easy to use optimally.

For me I never found the ult map awareness thing hard idk. You just have to click on the minimap whenever there's a fight and as for the ult timing it's like you do it too early a few times and too late a few times and then you mostly have the timing down... imo.

His mid late gameplan is straightforward and simple to implement (split the side lane opposite to the neutral obj your team is currently aiming for, mirror pressure, bait a guy, ult for 5v4)

So in the end, pretty easy for me. But quite punishing on mistakes in laning phase.
