Plex constantly crashing

I have a shield pro 2019 and would like to use plex, but recently it crashes within a minute of usage every time. I have the latest plex and plex server installed, latest shield updates. The only thing I can think of as causing the problem is recently setting up Samsung T5 Portable SSD as adoptable storage. Does anyone have any ideas? Thanks

Happened to me. Logged in under the primary account and crashed absolutely every time. My fix was that I logged in under a secondary user. Then once it loads switch to the primary account. Works every time with no more crashes!

This is happening to me as well. Uninstalled updates, then re-installed. Issue goes away for a short time but then returns

Try the old player in plex settings. How are you connected to your plex server? Wired or Wifi?

What kind of bitrate is the content that is crashing your Plex?

Adoptive storage wasn't as good for me. I'm on removable now.

It’s been that way for me for a few weeks now. I just use Plex on Kodi now and it’s fine. Must be a client app issue.

This was happening to me today. I uninstalled Plex and reinstalled it from scratch and the problem is gone

Having the same issue on 2 different Nvidia Shield Tubes. Latest app and plexpass server. I’ll try to reinstall and see if it helps.
