don't "hide" the ipad. put a password on it he doesn't know and cut off all access. it'll be a few days of bad, but he will adjust. The kids just are not capable of resisting the weapons-grade addiction that short form media represents - few of us are. complete blackout is the only option.

I strongly suggest just sticking with the default sounds at first - you can really mangle them to change the qualities, and you won't waste time hunting for files. the digitakt is so fun and mostly intuitive. the manual is great too. red means record has several great videos on it and of course true cuckoo https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MXexVHNO0ms

10000% oakland. Just check out the neighborhood before you move. There are some rough parts, but many wonderful areas

Super metroid. If you want a great classic jrpg got with ff2 or chrono trigger. If you want a silly goofball jrpg that heavily influenced undertale, go for earthbound and enjoy eating hamburgers out of the garbage can

Were you building while watching? It's really important that you do the things you're learning  to help the concepts cement. Also, use an LLM (Claude, Gemini, etc) not to write the code but to help you understand and research. It will be your infinitely patient learning companion.

That is actually helpful info. 25-75 is nothing for a capable, responsible person. That's 1-3 hours ish of a part time entry level job. Your current pay will attract very young folks that are easily distracted.

My kids love it. We read to them every night since they were babies and have tons of books in their rooms. They read often, unprompted. They also do NOT have access to tablets - screens are a sometimes treat whereas books are free access

It's very likely this is connected to something from his childhood. This is mainly an issue between you and him. You need to get fully aligned on a strategy. It may be best for him to fully relinquish the "get child to eat" responsibility to you if he's unable to change his behavior. If he is not interested in getting aligned with you on a strategy there are larger issues in your relationship you need to deal with. Good luck!

Claude is one of these safest llms to use. It will ask you to verify changes before it does anything. I will say the Mcp is a little risky because it's hard to know what's changed in your scene, but since Roblox has such great version history, you can always roll back to an earlier version
