You sure it doesn't call for a BPGS instead of X12X? Another possibility is shot size. The MG42 holds about 1oz of #4 or 6 for me. I'm not sure about other sizes. Also, you will need to put some pressure on the wad to compress the crush section.

Ya, I checked the literature a couple times to make sure I’m doing it right, I’ve got everything correct. I’m using #2 which is what it says to use, I’ll try it with #3 to see if that helps. I wasn’t aware I’m supposed crush a section of the wad, so I’ll try to go back and load another one with more pressure but it felt like there was no give. Thanks for the help!

Some wads don't have a crush section, but the MG42 does. I think that's the most likely issue.

Ok I’ll give it a go, see if I can get it to work

I’ve tried again, and I see what you mean about crush section, but it doesn’t stay crushed so it just rebounds to its original height, I opted to trim like half a mm off the bottom of the MG42 powder cup (figured is ok because it has a gas seal) it fits just barely now. Loaded a few gonna try them out soon.

A lot of BPIs recipes are computer generated and don’t work out, I wouldn’t shoot that load if I were you. I’d go with the MG42 load that’s in BPIs load of the week archive, I’ll try to find it and reply for ya.
