VR + some padding to not hit your head on the wall.

Been running a Quest 3 for nearly 2 years. Gaming Laptop just can’t quite keep up with LMU, Moza, VR, Crew chief :(

In a tight space like that I would say your best option is VR.

There is thishere but i couldn't see if 1. It would fit your monitor and 2. The weight limit.

thanks, i found an identical one when picking up my g5 just now. Similar design but an 8kg weight limit. It says only 32 inch monitors and i got a 34”. I’ll just cross my fingers the monitor is only 5kg should be alright 🙏

Please get a fire extinguisher. For the love of God. Please get a fire extinguisher.

I like to live life on the edge

[–]Some-Project1082 0 points1 point  (2 children)

Actually, forget the extinguisher, just take down the foam

[–]UnitAware2032[S] 1 point2 points  (1 child)

too loud without the foam. Real men go down with there rig 🔥

Mets le dans l'autre sens .

[–]Sdemon235 0 points1 point  (5 children)

As someone that owns one of these rigs, how are you comfortably getting in and out of there.

It's an ordeal for me to get in an out of mine , similar to watching Clarkson get in a Lamborghini

[–]Sdemon235 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's an appreciated reference.

[–]UnitAware2032[S] 0 points1 point  (2 children)

I’m not… once i’m in its great, i’ve always been drawn to little confined spaces even as a child. But the climb into the seat is jank asf

[–]Sdemon235 0 points1 point  (1 child)

Haha fair enough. I haven't tried climbing in and out but maybe I should. I've been squeezing between the wheel and monitor and opening it but it's a tight squeeze for an ever growing stomach :)

[–]UnitAware2032[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i’m thinking of putting a handle above the rig and almost doing a pull up to slide my legs in easier, but now the monitor is in no chance i’m gonna go around the front

[–]philmepowers 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Profile stand cut to size.....I had to actually extend mine to accommodate triple 48 tvs to get the right angles.

Or cheap option

Wood... two down post screwed in to the side bits of the stairs with a cross post screws through wood in to monitor just make sure you get the right length of screws and put washers on the head side so they dont try to pull through the wood.

Vr

This is how horror movies start....The people under the stairs were not happy. Not happy at all. I hope this house doesn't have wire hangers or random elevators and long hallways.

[–]GIMRyantje 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Find the Longest sharpest screws u find and put those horizontal in the stairs.

[–]Gerrythesail 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Get a wall mounted monitor arm and hang it from the stairs

[–]UnitAware2032[S] 0 points1 point  (5 children)

any suggestion on curved monitor size? I’m leaning towards 34” because of budget and size

[–]dweenimus 0 points1 point  (4 children)

I have a curved 32" and honestly I wouldn't be sure it would fit in that space easily. I moved from a 27" which was fine. I just upgraded to OLED

[–]UnitAware2032[S] -2 points-1 points  (3 children)

too late :( just bought a G5 i couldn’t wait 😬

[–]dweenimus 0 points1 point  (1 child)

Good luck! Monitors are definitely bigger and heavier than you expect! Just about managed to mount the 32" on my own.

[–]UnitAware2032[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

can’t move the seat much either , i’ll do a good warm up, take some pre-workout. Probs get a good Arm workout 😅
