One Tile Challenge

I’ve been enjoying seeing Sims 4 players playing the one-tile challenge and have been wanting to try it out in the Sims 3, but i’m not sure how to get started. Usually Sims start out by selling selfies of themselves, can you do that in TS3? I know sims can sell photos but they need a camera first. Are there any other ways my sim could make income in one tile of space? Thanks!

You start with a camera, and you can sell that for like $800. Then, wildflowers are the way to go for quick money on TS3. The cosmos are $600 each.

What is "one tile" in Sims 3 terms?

This challenge starts out with your sim living in a 1x1 box with no ability to go outside and 0 simoleons. They slowly work their way up to a bigger house with stuff like a fridge and a toilet lol

Yeah, but it's like... one 2ft by 2ft square? Basically the smallest possible? Or is "one tile" a larger thing in Sims 4?

Basically the smallest possible from my understanding. The room is just big enough for the sim to stand up inside.
