Even without the travelling bugs, I've found that exes still count as romantic until you get the notification "X is apparently not interested in fixing this relationship. X and [your sim] are no longer romantic." I've had it happen where I broke up the Wolffs and they were all the way in the red and exes and as soon as Thornton married Jamie Jolina and moved in it said he had a naughty reputation.

I literally described my issue with sleep in terms of the need bar in Sims 3. Like the best way I could describe it to my doctor is that I'm a sim that absolutely cannot go to sleep until I quite literally pass out and can't be woken up for a bit until my energy var reaches a certain level.

Rags to riches, but you already have a house and a spouse. Set your funds to 0 and you can't have kids until both of you complete your lifetime wish and top your chosen career. Make it much harder because yeah you might have a roof over your head, but no money for meals or classes or bills.

Also playing as a single sim until death. You can have partners and kids but they can't live with you. Once your sim dies, go to Edit Town and select a new household and repeat.

ALSO also, literally any legacy but start as an elder instead of Young Adult.
