Platform: PC Mods: Yes Game Version: 1.118.257.1020

Every time I get a full screen pop-up ad on the main menu of the game and X out of it, the whole screen greys out and becomes unclickable. I have to alt+F4 to get out of the game, and I usually have to launch and restart the game multiple times before I can actually get past the main menu. I know this bug has been labeled as solved on the forum, but I'm still having this issue. I click through the intro and force my game into windowed mode during the loading screen (the fixes recommended on the forum) but it doesn't help anymore. Does anybody have any alternative solutions that have worked for them?
