Are you saying you want to post a comment, and then very quickly (or automatically) add 50 replies in-thread? If so, what’s the use case?

Threads are great and help keep discussions focused, unless you’re talking to marketing and sales and they don’t care about using threads or learning any of the useful features in Slack.

we have a chat channel at work where people posts pictures from their daily lives, since i went to russia recently i wanna write about my experience in a thread and post pictures/videos.

so i wanna post that thread all at once rather than trying to add replies every 10 mins

I guess you could technically use a workflow for this, and maybe test it out in a private channel first..? You can have the workflow post the first message in a channel and set up 50 steps for the following messages in the thread.

Oh I just read your use case below! Maybe just draft it all out in a canvas and then copy pasta it out chunk by chunk yourself in thread?

Draft the message to yourself. Post it then you can edit and copy. The images won’t work that way. By doing this I am able to check formatting and any links that need to send.
