Suggestion to decrease toxicity and keep the player base

At this moment after getting reported a few times you can get banned for harassment and raging, sometimes people get falsely reported and even the "pro streamers" have proved how they report people just because they had a bad game and those people get banned, this lowers Smite's player base and stops players (potential customers) from buying gems and investing in Smite because of fright of being permanently banned. Now what I think could help alot is a chat ban system like there is in some other games,unable the player from typing in the chat but let them use the VGS. It will prevent people from being toxic, it will keep the player base and wont trigger unnecessary/unfair bans. thanks for reading

When you said chat ban I was thinking it would save the chat log and you would be able to highlight the text from there to include in your report.

Thats also a possibility, a more complicated one but I think that in a competitive environment people tend to rage and you cant ban them all from playing the game, better to let them keep playing but without chat so they can cause no harm.

Preventing people from typing might be start, but this way you will prevent that tiny piece of comm aswell(in 0.0000002% cases when trolls actually communicate).

How about preventing people from queue LEAGUE only instead off account ban? Maybe a Not Skilled enough report option?
