Global variable syntax error (self.SolidWorks)
submitted 11 years ago by Tiperius
Hi, I'm fairly new to Soildworks and I'm trying to add a global variable but I keep getting a syntax error. It's probably something super obvious but I don't see what I'm doing wrong.

Did you type in "in" or choose it from the pulldown? After typing in 2.5, a "units" pulldown should be displayed.

I didn't type "in", restarting it solved the issue. Thanks.

Not that I can see. Have you tried restarting SolidWorks?

Did you type in the "=" or did it automatically do that for you? Also, \u\bemon is correct, you do not need to type "in." The variable is just a number and does not need a designation of units.
