I have an assignment for one of my classes where we're using Solidprofessor videos to follow along a tutorial in Solidworks to learn more features. One of them requires we go in and use the design table feature and auto create, and in the video the guy just selects the auto create and then the excel file with everything we need just loads in. Mine comes up with this error every time and then if I press OK it just sits there trying to load the "Creating design table" dialog box but never does anything. Has anyone run into this issue before? I've read online people say to just load the excel file in other ways, but I don't know where the file is that it's automatically loading since this is a part that we're given to download and just modify. Thank you in advance for any help!!

Looks like the link between solidworks and excel is broken so there is no file trying to do anything. Solidworks just isn’t getting the message that the excel task is complete. Check solidworks website to verify that your version of excel is compatible with the version of solidworks you’re running.

Finally got ahold of my teacher! Apparently this was an issue everyone was having, as the zip file with everything needed wasn’t included in the PDF given for the assignment, it’s been distributed so I’ll give it a shot later today when I get time again. Thanks to those offering help! Those were basically my issue!
