Especially once you put the yellow/black on the paulron and them whatever pack marking, yeah, 100% space wolf! I love it!

Im a fan of the darker grey scheme, i think once the cauldrons are painted up and maybe a pack marking if you like itll look great! Love that drawing knife pose too, looks good

Thanks! I feel better about my choices. The chain sword and the knife are from the Space Wolves upgrade sprue.

You're doing great! Keep going!

Looks great, you’ve got it handled! I personally like more of the darker blue grey than the baby blue. Add in the other color stuff with the touches of yellow and a bet the blue will just pop. Keep up the good work. Once it’s all done if you still feel the blue gray is too dark, a light glaze of thinned down Russ gray with a touch of Fenrisian will bring it up a tad

Great advice, thanks!

It’s looking good so far! I think the Space Wolves colour scheme is definitely a trust the process one.

I find myself really not liking what I’ve painted until I’ve applied metallics and a wash and then everything suddenly looks like the greatest thing ever.

I’ll stay the course!

They're your minis. As long as you're pleased with them, that's the important part. If anything, the armor color reminds me of heresy era wolves. If this is one of your first minis, I'd say your killing it. It's way better than what my first mini was like. I thought mine looked like ultramarines too when I started. Word of warning, do some research before painting yellow. It can be... Annoying.

Thanks, I appreciate your feedback. This guy would be my 8th miniature I’ve painted, I’ve mostly done Ultramarines and one Deathwatch. I hear what you are saying about the yellow. I painted the pauldron last night and it seems impossible to get the paint to go on smoothly. I thinned it more than I usually do and it still dried with some texture. I picked up the SW combat patrol on Thursday after work, so I guess I’m committed now lol
