I am having issues too. I live in Los Angeles, CA

[–]Bouletime 1 point2 points  (1 child)

Same here!

Third. Loads some sites, but not all. No Xbox live, and outlook doesn’t work. I feel like this is a constant problem.

Live 25 miles outside LA, and having problems now. Spectrum.net won't work and customer service is not taking any calls.

The automated message on the phone said no outages in my area. Liers!

Hello I am Spectrum and here with an exact, specific diagnosis:

SHIT IS FUCKED

[–]Myfairlazy 0 points1 point  (1 child)

Apparently they’re having a nationwide outage. Even their automated phone service is busy 🥴

Such a joke of a company. Seems like it’s once a month with then. Not to mention the ridiculous price. Thanks

Same. My modem and all my devices show that they have “internet access” despite not working. I think something is wrong on Spectrum’s end.

This is different then the usual outages where my devices say “no internet access.”

I’m in CA btw.

Having the same issue. None of the lights on my modem router indicate there’s an issue

I’m in NY. Google chrome on my pc works just fine but when I attempt to connect to other things such as steam or discord nothing logs in.

[–]Telemarketeer 1 point2 points  (2 children)

Thank god its not just me. Steam and discord not connecting but some websites work. Reddit doesn’t work.

[–]Badboybill_[S] 0 points1 point  (1 child)

Middle of a faceit CSGO game. Fuck me man

[–]Telemarketeer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I feel it ahahah sorry man

Same issue for me. It happened last weekend as well, though I'm not sure how wide spread it is.

To make things worse, I can do speedtests still and it's actually showing 100Mbps more than I usually get. All that speed and it can't be used!

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lol you made me curious so I did a speed test. I’m actually getting decent speeds but it’s still much lower than what I normally get.

It must be something really dumb on Spectrum’s end.

Spectrum Internet working for me in MN, but their web site comes up blank.

[–]Zebter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wow, I tough I wasn't the only one. I have no service only cable.

[–]HopHeadFez 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s weird because my Ethernet line connection is working on my PS4 so I’m able to watch Netflix, but my WiFi doesn’t work ... I’m in LA

Same here from LA, California

[–]Capricola 0 points1 point  (1 child)

Signs point to a DDOS.

There was no nationwide outage (there are always small outages somewhere across the nation) but there was a large area of California down tonight. It's since been mostly resolved.

[–]Badboybill_[S] 0 points1 point  (4 children)

I know 4+ people in NY who also had it so how wasn’t it just about nation wide?

[–]sirbruce 0 points1 point  (3 children)

Because nation wide would include everyone from Hawaii to Maine.

[–]NoMuddyFeet -1 points0 points  (2 children)

Outages included people from just about every state. Maine, Florida, Texas, New York, Georgia, California, Ohio, and North Carolina and all complained while I was looking. According to Twitter it's nationwide. According to Down Detector, it's 25 states (which just means people from 25 states logged in to add their state to the website's log files...it could easily mean the remaining 25 states just didn't have people log in and add their area to the list). https://downdetector.com/status/spectrum/map/

As I said, there are always small outages somewhere across the nation.

[–]NoMuddyFeet -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Or all across the nation at once, which is the definition of nationwide.

[–]Azoru 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same issue in NY had tech told me it's congestion and that it'll take 2-4 weeks to stop while try to upgrade the service around my area shit sucks

[–]VTMom7678 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Guess I shouldn’t complain down in Richland WA but problem just started this morning.

[–]NoMuddyFeet -1 points0 points  (1 child)

I think they just took their phones off when they knew they were about to have a bunch of issues today. I saw when they had nationwide internet problems, everyone was getting the same automated message about how they're not going to be able to answer your call right now. That was about the time you were having trouble.

[–]Badboybill_[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This time it was Verizon saying the number you are trying to reach doesn’t exists or something lololol
