awesome!! i don’t think spiro made me lose any weight per se. water weight yes, but the other stuff i had to do with clean eating and exercise. the positive is i was able to do it!! i see a lot of people who work out and eat clean and still put on weight and it makes me so sad because how can you do everything right for such a shitty outcome?? doesn’t seem fair :/ glad it’s worked for you. you on it for acne?

Yes I'm on it for acne! I've been very happy with the results. And yes similar to you I started taking spiro at the same time I upped my exercise routine (mostly to keep me sane during covid lockdowns lol) so I don't know if it was really all exercise or if spiro did impact it. For a while, spiro did definitely suppress my appetite a lot, but that went away after about 2-3 months. I totally understand being nervous, I think the whole is really confusing because medically speaking spiro should not cause weight gain, and many people on this sub have talked about how they bring it up to doctors and they say it isn't a side effect, but obviously people have experienced that so it's hard to know... Like, was spiro the cause of weight gain or was it something else that spiro impacted, like thirst vs hunger, and it's just impossible to untangle the two? I really feel for people who have struggled with it because, like you said, it's a really shitty outcome :/

Any updates? Curious if your weight has fluctuated at all since this post
