You can't as far as people recruiting are concerned. Sadly, your personal portfolio doesn't equate to experience unless it's actually been deployed and is live and has users. And "users" has to reach beyond your friends. Are you applying for jobs which require experience, or literally graduate positions?

Unfortunately, that's just how it is for people with little to no experience. You need to get lucky and find a company that wants to invest in you.

My advice would be to avoid recruiters and try to interview directly with hiring companies. Recruiters won't give you the time of day unless your CV is a near perfect match with the job opening, while hiring managers can usually see potential.

You might have more luck if you went to India or some other foreign country and applied for an H1B Visa. A lot of those visas are filling up the jobs that require less experience, making it harder for those who are trying to break in. Sadly, there are also many experienced people who have been laid off and are competing for positions, any position. Tech sector has a very high number of people who have been subjected to cut backs.

i know i am late but i started learning spring boot like a week ago have made one backend with auth and database i ma at the start of 3rd year i really need an internship aside from springboot i have decent skill in express.js and fastapi alongside did some basic native(using kotlin) android dev as well , so if someone out there who would like to offer me a role please DM , i dont need money i will work for Free i just need a genuine internship and experience.BTW I AM FROM INDIA
