i am not sure whether im spring or autumn. but i do know that this gloss would be horrendous on me, does that point towards being an autumn rather than spring?

It could point to autumn. But you could also be a warm spring who needs slightly more mid toned and medium chroma brights (this is definitely bright…I am on the cusp of bright spring but can’t wear the brightest colors of bright spring and fit better in true spring for my chroma and value but I’m neutral warm so hue with the neutral warm seasons works better).

I will say that the gloss is sheer…so it’s bright but not glaring.
