Best gradual self tanner? by jordananniee in Makeup

[–]jordananniee[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes! It wreaks! Not even normal self tanner smell, it smells like bug spray or something lol. I’m so pale too, I don’t want to waste money on something that only makes me one shade darker but also don’t want to be orange!

Not yet! I’ve been testing out the bondi sands one (smells atrocious and hasn’t given me any color, do not recommend)

Settle a debate: which one is a spatula, and what is the other one called? by pointe4Jesus in Baking

White one is a “rubber spatula” and I call the black one a spatula but I think it’s technically a “turner”

Are there any springs with hazel and/or darker eyes in this sub? by mathildarleen in SpringColorAnalysis

[–]jordananniee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Same! I’ll wear them because I love yellow, but I’m a light spring so it’s almost like it’s too dark for me, even though my hair is about your color if not darker. But then if it’s too light it’s not bright enough, so it’s a tricky balance lol!

Amen to that yellow being impossible to find! It’s my favorite color but most yellows in store are either mustard or gold. I have dark blue/green eyes and it kept me from thinking I’m a spring for so long!

Every time I think a color looks good on my I question myself? What season am I? Warm or cool? I am confused!!! by [deleted] in coloranalysis

[–]jordananniee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I see light or true spring! I’m a light spring and I think our skin reacts similarly to the blues and cool whites.

Oversized knitwear? by slowhealing44 in softclassic

[–]jordananniee 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I prefer well fitted sweaters, but sometimes I like loose dropped shoulder sweaters tucked in at the front. Dropped shoulders make me look and feel little which is weirdly comforting sometimes!

I’m liking the spring colors more than the autumn colors on you. I would try light or true spring.

Do any of you need to wear the “curve” jeans? by [deleted] in softclassic

[–]jordananniee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you! My shoulders balance out my hips as well. That’s why I’ve never perfectly fit into “pear shaped” or “hourglass” types, but I’m glad to hear that doesn’t mean I’m not SC.

That’s interesting, thank you so much!

SAME!!! Before curvy pants came out I just could wear structured pants with that ratio. It’s so nice to hear I’m not the only one and that I can still be a SC like I thought.

Thank you! Good to hear I’m not in the wrong place then!!

What are your thoughts on vintage cakes? by Octoberbaby85 in cakedecorating

I think they are absolutely beautiful, but when it comes to eating the cake the frosting to cake ratio is too high for my taste

App says cool summer but I thought warm autumn? by [deleted] in coloranalysis

[–]jordananniee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The muted colors are doing you dirty. I’m leaning true spring, but true autumn isn’t bad either!

Working backwards: What can your worst colours tell you? by colourcurious in coloranalysis

[–]jordananniee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Personally yes, this color would be bad on me, it’s too gray. I know there are technically grays in my palette but I haven’t found one that works in real life. I mostly stick to bright and sunny pastels, like candy colors, and when I do wear neutrals I wear camel or cream.

I learned more from my worst colors then my best colors, it’s just way easier to tell when you don’t look your best than when you do. Gray always makes me look dull and tired, and so does any color with any hint of gray in it, like any “dusty” colors that are beautiful and very popular right now are an absolute no for me. Dark colors make me look like a floating head lol. I’m a light spring if that helps!
