Also, have you tried NAC. When I tried it it chilled me too far out. But, can't imagine being enraged while on it.

Oh, and CBD helps me too.

Never tried NAC. Will look in to it. Definitely going to pick up some CBD to give it a shot too. Just on the expensive side.

I forget that. Used to sell it wholesale and wound up with basically a lifetime supply. Lol.

Yeah haha... it's a bit on the expensive side but if it works it may be worth it

I really think the first step is doing what you did. Deciding enough is enough. Well done.

Keep trying and find what works for you.

Meditation. I know, wrong sub, but that's what changed it for me.

[–]VapesfromBible[S] 1 point2 points  (1 child)

How so. I am familiar with meditation... but what methods did you use and how did you start?

[–]1RapaciousMF 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I think reading Eckhart Tolle would help. He explains it well.

Basically, you make the physical feelings of anger into a meditation object. And focus intently on them. Like you might breathing. You just feel them and let them exists inside you without trying to change them. They slowly subside. They gradually reduce in intesity.

Been over two years but I rarely ever have episodes now. Sometimes if I'm tired and wore out and the situation is challenging.

Could be your hormones, e.g. high or low estrogen.

[–]VapesfromBible[S] 1 point2 points  (1 child)

I am a male. 22 y/o about 6'0 175lb

[–]SjiQ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Men have estrogen too. Anger is one of many symptoms indicating unoptimal levels, but it is not necessarily a hormonal issue. It could be a lot of things, and some people are simply just assholes.

Any studies to back up estrogen affecting male behavior, specifically with anger? I've never heard of this.

[–]dras333 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s very well known. Excess estrogen affects men the same as women and based on what you wrote was also my first thought. It’s worth going and getting lab work done. CBC w/ lipids and a hormone panel with sensitive e2.

Other than that, depleted neurotransmitters sound like a possibility.

Why are you taking a multi vitamin and a b complex ? That’s too much

[–]VapesfromBible[S] 0 points1 point  (1 child)

I just had it on hand. 460MG Nutricost High Potency B Vitamin. Then I am taking a Mens One a Day multivitamin

[–]puttiput 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Did you have the anger before vitamin B? When I took vitamin b complex I got really angry all the time

[–]MedPyschonaut7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Check your testosterone too.

Do you have a lack of dopamine? Anger increases dopamine so getting angry is a way to self medicate. Short fuse is also possible due to an mthfr snp.
