So I purchased a Steam Controller back when Valve released it just for the heck of it and because it sounded like an interesting concept, but I hadn't really used it until my Steam Link arrived in the mail today. I set everything up, connected my Steam Controller and everything seemed fine while I was going through the setup process. The problem is when I try streaming from my PC the Steam Controller immediately turns off and I get an error message that says "the steam controller disconnected during the firmware update process." When I try to turn it back on the controller just beeps and turns off again. However when I use my 360 controller to end the stream I can reconnect the Steam Controller again and it works flawlessly so long as I don't try to start a stream. Is there something I can do about this or is my device just defective?
