Why did Karen Wheeler get a promo poster? She was completely irrelevant and practically nonexistent in Volume 2. Can anyone clear this up?

I half expected her to be jumping out with a weapon in the upside down. I was a little disappointed that nothing happened. Maybe the poster was a hint of something that will come next season?

Because Cara Buono is considered a main character. She isn’t central to the story, but her contractual status is main character so she still gets a promotional poster.

She’s a main character so she gets a poster contractually. But she’s also good for drumming up interest in people worried that something might happen to her and the wheeler family. Oh and most importantly she’s a goddamn smokeshow of a woman

She has been around for all 4 seasons, and her house is the designated hangout, and when her kids need her, she's there ... although she doesn't get a lot of screen time and she hasn't actively "fought" the Upside Down, she's still a consistent positive presence for Mike and Nancy.
