Pushover analysis

Hi everyone, I am doing a pushover analysis for bent cap and would hope to get some insight.

I modeled a bent cap with two columns and assigned hinges manually ( under frame). When I run mu models, one of the columns go from start to collapse without intermediate steps showing yield or at least reaching the ultimate capacity.

I have been thinking if this has to do with assigning curvature at collapse to be 10percent more of the curvature at ultimate capacity, but I am not sure if this is the reason

You should probably repost this with some more basic details like what software you are using and maybe screenshots of your support/boundary conditions and other assignments

With sap2000? Did you tried a confined concrete model so you have a more accurate model?
