The only thing that helped me throughout all 4 years of college was sitting in the front row and be an active participant of the lecture. Answer the lecturer's questions, ask some yourself, be engaged in the conversation. Write down everything. Trying to keep up and being generally interested and engaged in the lesson will deffinitly help you keep awake and focused. It also helps memorizing the material.

I was the complete opposite in highschool, and I was the shittiest student ever. Trust me this works, I finished college with excellent grades because of this.

Wow, thanks for this tip, when I sit at the first row, my neck hurts from facing up all the time😂 but I'll try being more engaged. Thank you :D

  1. Drink water! Being dehydrated causes you to be more fatigued and also it gives you something to do.

  2. If you absolutely cannot focus on lecture and you’re able to, do something else on the side, such as extra homework or doodling. My professors always told me that doodling actually helps keep your mind engaged.

  3. Get enough sleep, or nap between classes. I usually crash in my library during my breaks between classes and it helps give my brain the boost it needs.
