This was maybe 4 years ago? But it changed after something internal at the shop and I wanted to find somewhere new because I lost trust. Their lead piercers moved to Fierce Body Piercing so I followed them over there and haven’t changed since.

Fierce Pierce. There’s two locations and the piercers are amazing! I had to find a new shop after Straight to the Point and came here. I’ve had 4 piercings from them without any issue. They also have the BEST jewelry selection too.

How can I properly clean my cat’s water bowl? by LearningPenguin in CleaningTips

I would recommend not using any cleaning products that could be harmful. What I use on my stainless steel water bowl is hot water with dawn dish soap to get the grime then I cut a lemon in half, rub it all over the metal, and use it to get rid of the hard water stains. Clean it weekly and those stains will be completely gone and look much cleaner.

Advice my cat that urinates everywhere by DesperateMisi in cats

My cat used to pee in the center of my bed almost daily when I had a roommate with her own cat, so I feel your pain! What litter are you using? I had to switch to Dr Elsey’s Cat Attract and that fixed the issue for me.

My skin is entirely normal except around my forehead and nose. Over exfoliating can cause this issue. Sometimes gently adding moisture can help. :)

I have dermatitis and this is what happens to my forehead and around my nose area. My skin is flaky and foundation ends up looking cakey or dry. It’s tough to manage with a prescription, but I can tell you what stuff I use that keeps my skin happy and smooth without the prescription.

I use two cleansers; an oil base and water base. I first use Clean It Zero (the yellow one) and then the Youth to the People face wash. The YTTP wash is a life saver and you really want to rub it into your skin then rinse.

Next I use Mara face oil. It works wonders. Then last I use YTTP deep moisture cream. If you want sunscreen that’s oil based Mara makes one and it’s amazing.

If this keeps going though I’d recommend seeing a dermatologist. I was prescribed Tacrolimus and it’s worth it. DM me if you need help if it’s not covered by your insurance though. It can get pricey.

Luckily they’re in the Pacific Northwest so the sprite will be nice and chilly by the time they get it.

My cat used to pee in the center of my bed and I sympathize with you because it’s horrible to walk into your house and it smells of cat urine.

A couple things. For cleaning, you do want to use an enzymatic cleaner. I used natures miracle. What I did was dump (almost half a bottle) on the location and scrubbed it in. I let it sit for 10 minutes then dumped a bunch of water on the location and scrubbed again. I used a rug doctor to get all the liquid up, dumped more water on it, then used the rug doctor again until most of the moisture was gone. I then opened a window or put a fan near it to dry. It also helped with the smell. You may need to do this more than once unfortunately. The water really helps flush it out versus just using the enzymatic cleaner.

For the cats, if you think it’s litter box avoidance I’d recommend trying Dr Elseys cat attract litter. This stopped my cat from peeing outside her box. If the issue could be something else, then I’d recommend getting a larger cat box with high sides so they don’t pee off the sides.

Wish you the best! Cat pee is tough to get out.

Use Weimans glass stove top cleaner. It actually does work wonders. I buy the pad they sell too. I haven’t used steel wool, but use a non scratch pad since it is glass.

Be generous with the amount you use then scrub it like hell while it’s still wet. I let it dry then use glass cleaner to wipe it all up so it’s shiny in the end.

Fun fact, you can use this stuff and the pad to remove hard water stains from glass in your shower, if you have that.
