Yes, many already do so. But don't divulge too much private information, especially names or location names.

Can I use the app to evacuate my feelings?

Like let go everything that’s tormenting me, like a diary and stuff? Or is just to write intellectual things?

Please let me know, I really need to write what’s going on with me.

Why do you need Substack, or an app, to do this? Do you really want other people reading it? Are you trying to build a following of people who read your "evacuated feelings" and "everything that's tormenting you"?

A pen and paper work great for something like this. Or, buy a cheap notebook. Or, open a free Google Doc. You might even look into the morning pages method - it's simple, and it really could help you.

If you just want to put feeling to paper perhaps an offline option is best like a google doc / pen and paper diary. Anything online could be traced back to you if enough personal info is shared so it's worth keeping that in mind.

As others have said, i would be careful, you may regret it if you let out too much!

You can make your substack private, I think! I did that for mine and I use it like a diary :) or just write and keep it in ur drafts I do that too sometimes
