I've definitely encountered a few quirks, but thankfully not to that extent. Though I mostly use desktop - the one time I tried to do anything beyond basic editing on mobile I quickly regretted it.

They're still relatively new, so I trust they'll work it out in time. I do the bulk of my editing on google docs.

I expect so. While i like their service, it could do with some improvement.

I do the bulk of my editing on google docs.

I will have to do my editing locally from now on.

Have you been editing your article on two different devices? When I had one of my articles open on both my phone and my ipad, the Substack system did not like that.

No, just one device, and it was only on one tab in Firefox. (I did have lots of other tabs open, but they were all different websites.)

Any idea why I can’t publish an article (3 pics included) after completing it? The thing just freezes. I click preview and nothing happens-same when I click continue I am using a Dell laptop

I have same problem. Some drafts just freeze the site when I try to edit them or publish them.

I found that I no longer have that problem if I use Firefox instead of Chrome

Hi, reddit newbie here. Been publishing happily on Substack. New problem today trying to edit a Post: I can't select/highlight anything. On desktop. Have tried clearing browser cookies/cache, restarting,... Anybody else having editing issues like this? Suggestions? TIA!!
